Check In/Pickup Location Details

  • Please arrive at the check-in location at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
    Guests will receive a confirmation voucher upon booking containing their tour details along with directions to the meeting point.
    Please look for the tall marble and stone column opposite the west entrance of Westminster Abbey. At the top is a figure of St George slaying a dragon. Your guide will be waiting by this column.
    Your guide will be wearing a blue polo shirt or jacket at the meeting point for easy recognition and will be holding a sign with the tour name.
    Arriving by tube:
    Take the tube to Westminster, exit, cross the road onto Bridge St and pass through Parliament Square. Walk along the Broad Sanctuary and you will see the column in front of you (opposite the Westminster Abbey gift shop). You can also arrive via St James's Park, exiting and walking straight down Tothill Street. You will see the column directly in front of you.

Restrictions

  • This activity is not wheelchair accessible.

Additional Notes

  • Depending on the day, you will see either the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace or the Horse Guards Parade. On some occasions, the Changing of the Guard may be cancelled on a short notice.
  • Due to increased security measures at many attractions, some lines may form on tours with skip-the-line or VIP early access.
  • Photography is not permitted inside Westminster Abbey.
  • The cancellation of the tour due to bad weather is not announced before 11:00. When this occurs, you may still see a "wet change" wherein the guards will march without the usual music or parade.
  • This activity operates regardless of weather.
  • To guarantee small group experience, this tour will be limited to a maximum of twenty-five (25) guests.
  • Please note that this tour does include a tour inside the Buckingham Palace.
